The structure of these flat steels contain low amount of carbon and micro-alloying element. This type is suitable for welding, coating and painting operations. Internal structures is as fine-grained and may have high strength levels with the effect of alloying elements. Major advantages are impact strength and fatigue properties, plus the suitability for cold forming operations. That’s why there is a possibility of consumption of thinner materials, comparing to micro non-alloyed steels.
